An exceptional terroir
At Domaine Chante Cocotte, located at the foot of the village of Fontcouverte, the plots extend over only 4 hectares. The century-old Grenache and Macabeo vines benefit from a limestone soil (white marl and travertine) while Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc thrive on a silty soil. The berries ripen at their own pace while the leaves are swept by the Cers and the sea wind.
This unique terroir allows the full expression of the aromas and personality of each grape variety.

The harvest is done by hand, at dawn, to preserve the full quality of the grapes.
Winemaking is done in respect of traditions, combined with modern techniques that allow the grapes to express all the finesse and complexity of our wines.
