La Petite Cocotte — 2018

We absolutely love this wine, a blend of 50% 110-year-old Grenache and
35-year-old Merlot. La Petite Cocotte releases spicy notes, slightly
of cocoa, combining fruit and character, lightly woody, presenting very fine
tannins. A long finish on the palate, with red fruit notes. Its freshness,
straightforwardness, beautiful acidity, and balance awaken the palate.
Fermented in separate tanks, the blending of the juices takes place in 220-liter oak barrels
for a twelve-month aging period. La Petite Cocotte has the
gourmand character of a southern grape variety and the softness of great Merlots. (Our
favorite!)
